I suppose Job is out of sequence in order to make these 12 volumes approximately the same size (Job takes up half the book!)The author seems to be a fundamentalist, as he throws in various things that aren't explicitly in the Bible: the Trinity is mentioned on page 1, the 7 days appear to be 7 literal days, Satan possessed the snake, the "bubble of water kept out UV rays, plus the patriarchs had better genes, so they lived longer" theory is included, and Behemoth looks like a dinosaur (implying that Job would know what a dinosaur was.) My son (8) loves comic books but I do not appreciate a lot of the content in them. If I am going to be reading about death, revenge and hope in a higher power, I want it to be real and helpful to him. These comic books are exceptional!

The pictures and stories was nice, but it would have been better if they didn't add so much to the stories to change what was originally written, or change the viewpoint of th bible.

The artwork is fantastic. It is great to have the references to follow with the story. I want the rest of the volumes.

These comics are great! They were a perfect gift for my Sunday school students, even the adults loved them.

Illustrations are well done, but would have been nice if they had just followed the Bible and let the reader have their own opinions. Creation: science is not involved as far as the publishers are concerned.

This was one of the more inspirational books I have read in a long time. I am neither Christian nor a pilgrimage walker, however I still felt like Stacy was talking to me. This book touched me and had me questioning my life decisions. Was I really living the life I wanted? Am I in my own version of high-stress corporate lifestyle? What was I escaping from and where did I want to escape to?Each chapter is a combination of travelogue, suggested devotional reading, and tour guide. She has an easy, conversational writing style that makes you feel you are talking with a friend. I am fortunate enough to be friends with Stacy. Her writing sounds just like her describing her trip in person, although she is even more warm and engaging in person.I originally bought "Spirtual and Walking Guide" for some tips to record a cross country road trip and to support a friend. I did not expect to fall in love with this book. I read it sitting in a kayak at Watson Lake. I was transported from central Arizona to the inns, restaraunts, and the trail alongside the author.I highly recommend "Spiritual and Walking Guide" for anyone interested in travel, adventures, and finding your true path.

I've read this book twice and have purchased copies to give to my walking/hiking friends because it is such a blessing! Stacey writes so well that we can vicariously experience this pilgrimage. However, more than that we can use this book to deepen our spirituality as we walk through life. I challenge you to use the meditations and reflection questions to take your own pilgrimage (even if your walk only takes you through your neighborhood). It also makes a wonderful gift -- I've purchased several copies for my hiking friends.

I'm preparing for a second walk on the Camino this summer and as "coincidence" would have it, I'm starting in Léon! I have been working on my physical conditioning and hoping that my mental and spiritual conditioning would follow. Now I have a great guide for the most important part of the Camino--the spiritual. Thanks be to God!!

Although the author blends in spiritual and biblical readings throughout Ms.Wittig's walk, these can be so applied to all of us in life as we face the y trials and tribulations that each of us face in our daily lives. I found them most satisfying. .

The author took me on her pilgrimage by writing with such inspiring, uplifting and practical help. Whether the reader uses this as a guide when he embarks on El Camino Santiago or as a daily devotion where ever he ventures, it will change his life.I think his book is a must-read for all pilgrims who are planning to walk the Santiago El Camino, those who are currently walking it, and those who have walked it in the past. The author's amazing style of writing with detailed descriptions of the Santiago El Camino puts the reader back on the pilgrimage trail for eighteen wonderful days.

This prayer guide was a great resource for me on my recent pilgrimage. It kept me grounded and going during the tough times! Thank you.
