My 9 year old son loved these - read 1 a day.
I bought Diary of a Minecraft Zombie 1 & 2 for my 6 year old son. Although he is just learning to read, we read these together as his bed time story. Here is his review:I like these books. I like that it's about Minecraft. I like the characters and the story. The characters learn how to get along and stop being bullies. They are friends. I would like for my mom to buy more of these books so that we can keep reading Zombie's story. Good job! Keep writing!
Really great for my 8 year old!! My sons summer home work was to read 1,000 minutes - he has not put up one fight about reading since we bought these !! He is super excited about them! I couldn't tell you if the writing is good or not but for a video gaming 8 year old boy he is loving it and laughing out loud ! We are getting the rest that's for sure ! Thank you thank you Zack Zombie !
I bought these Diary of a Minecraft Zombie books at full price for my daughter, who loves playing the Minecraft game. She likes these books and now wants to collect them all. Book 2 is slightly thicker, longer than book 1. I think these books are easy to read since there is not a lot to read on one page.
My son loves these books! The hidden jokes about Minecraft the game, crack him up. He read this one in one day. Which is big! He is reads very well, but getting him to read is always a hassle. Not with these! I even read it after he was done. Can't wait to get the next book!
Our 11 year old son is NOT someone who will read willingly...EVER. He was given the first book of this series for Christmas ('15) and never picked it up until his 14 year old cousin was visiting us this Summer and noticed it. He mentioned it was a great book so my son decided to pick it up after his cousin left and did not put it down!! He read it all in ONE sitting!He was so excited when he realized how many books in this series there are. I ordered this one (Book 2) AND Book 3 for him to show him how proud we are of him. He just received Book 2 and has already read 1/2 of it in one sitting.The story is silly and fun and for any Minecraft lover out there. If you have a reluctant reader who happens to love Minecraft - GET THIS SERIES!

My 8 year old son LOVES minecraft but reading, not so much. I bought a few of these in hopes of changing that. He loves these books! Half of the time he doesn't want to put them down. They aren't the most amazing material to read but he loves it and that makes them worth it to me!
My 10 year old daughter is a Minecraft junkie, and also a bookworm. I thought this book would be a good fit because she devours every "Diary of" book she gets. The only reason i give this book a 4 star is because she didn't want to read it, She said it wasn't interesting, and she couldn't get started. once i had her get past the first two chapters she then completed the book, but she did say it wasn't one of her fav's. Wish i had more input.
